Aroon Grover is a senior executive with 20 years International experience at various leadership Positions as ‘Vice President’, ‘Director’ and a ‘Business Head’ in charge of building organisations, delivering revenue, marketing and managing client relationships across Asia.
Aroon has two Masters degree(s), one in the field of Analytics, (Master of Analytics, RMIT University,Australia) & Master of Business Administration. Aroon started his career in 1996 armed with a 2 years full time MBA specialising in marketing with a first division (Distinction) post completion of his Graduation in Science (BSc).He obtained his second Masters in Analytics from RMIT University, Australia in 2016 (undertaking Data Visualisation component at Monash University) and a certificate in Machine Learning from Stanford University (online).
In his past decade & a half career, he has lived and worked in Singapore for 5+ years with an APAC charge establishing regional HQ for leading market research & business intelligence companies namely, Mintel International (UK) & Affinnova (USA), a Nielsen Company.
Aroon has assimilated vast experience in diverse industries from Client consulting, Flavors & Fragrance & Packaging, providing vital insights to the FMCG industry to drive innovation & new product launches with a deep understanding of consumer insights & algorithm based research methodology.
He has presented on various topics to CEOs & business leaders at forums likes CFTAS (Cosmetic, Toiletries & Fragrance Associations), Singapore, CII (Confederation of Indian Industry), In-Cosmetics, Bangkok and such likes banking on his experience & research.
In his distinguished career at Firmenich (largest Swiss Flavour & Fragrance company), Aroon was handpicked to lead the India business & was the youngest ‘Commercial Director’ in the company heading the operation at the age of 32, quickly rising to take a regional responsibility with the company in Singapore.
At Affinnova & Mintel, under Aroon’s leadership, both companies recorded exceptional performance in top-line sales & profitability putting both firms on the path of high growth. He is recognised for leadership & strategic vision.
Aroon has been instrumental in introduction & launch of various successful FMCG products guiding the companies from ideation to market, helping businesses enter new categories.
Aroon’s skills span technical (Analytics using R, SPSS, MATLAB, Minitab & SAS) with extensive experience in client consulting & management and is looking for a position in Statistical Data Analysis, Business Development Leadership, Technology Sales, Consulting, and Insights in a company of repute.
